    A: We started April of 1996.
    2) Q: Are you a licensed contractor?

    A: yes our contractor license number with the state of California is 721502 HIC

    A: Our company maintains insurance for workman's comp (required by the State) on all working employees.

    A: We accept personnel check, Visa or MasterCard. We have a great Financing program on all installed roofs, including 90 day deferred first payment and 180 day same as Cash for as little as $30.00 per month.

    6) Q:  What are roof flashings.
    flashing A: "Flashing" is a roof industry term for sheet medal that's shaped and designed for water proofing roof edges and joints.
    Flashing is just one of many parts to a complete roof system. Below are several other parts to a roof system. Simply hover your mouse pointer over the picture, to view explanation of each picture.
    Code Cap- for mechanical furnace or water heater. Plumbing pipe- Ventilation for positive water ventilation Valley Metal- seam were two adjacent roof angles meet. This flashing is desighned to  promote what our company calls "water control". The act of conroling the direction of water flow inside the flashing so water does not drain under the tile. Fireplace/skylight flashings- These flashings protect the seam at the rooline were the  fireplace or skylight penetrates through the roof.

    8) Q:  How many days will it take to re-roof my home?

     

    A:  For a tile roof 4-6 working days. For a composition roof 2-4 working days.

    9) Q:  Should I tear off my existing roof?

     

    A: Yes. Tearing off your existing roof assembly will give the Contractor the opportunity to access and abate any dry rot to the roof structure. Also, any problems with pests such as termites can be possible found and advised to the owner by the contractor.

    A:  Century Roof & Solar gives a 10 year workmanship warranty for leakage of the roof system.

    13) Q: How can a homeowner benefit from installing a composition roof or a lightweight tile roof?

     

    A: Tile roofs have been used in Europe for hundreds of years. Because of it's durability, tile is being used on over 70% of all residential structures in Europe. In the United States  Concrete tiles are most popular in the Western sun belt region of the country. Extruded  concrete tile is the only product that will insulate well in dessert type conditions like  Las Vegas and New Mexico. It also has a wide popularity in hurricane zone areas of the  United States like Hawaii and Florida. (Regions in the country that demand the maximum wind resistance with a roof assembly.

    Composition on the other hand was first developed in the 1800s in the form of roll roofing  on farm houses. Composition eventually evolved in the 1930's as a 3 tab shingle design that became a popular economic solution to residential roofing. Today composition comes in a wide array of colors and designs. From an economic 30 year dimensional design, all the way to  the rugged appearance and definition of wood shake, shingle and slate.
